I have wanted to visit the
Zambezi river ever since I was in
Chile at the Futalefu about three years ago. Just before Christmas Mark and I rolled in to Livingstone and managed to spend about a week and a half paddling the
Zambezi. It lived up to all my expectations… fun, big water paddling with a few rapids putting butterflies in my stomach. We spent Christmas day on the river with a couple friends and a few days later we started driving south.

Our first stop was Chobe National Park in Botswana, where we saw plenty of wildlife including elephants, for which Chobe is famous for.

Now we are in Namibia, having celebrated the New Year and can only hope that the upcoming year will be as good as the previous one was.
Both Mark and I send out holidays greetings to all our friends and family and we are wishing everyone fantastic adventures in the new year!
