Norway Daze

So after a couple more days in Sjoa, enjoying the company and doing a couple classic rivers, we decided to head to Hemsedal to visit our friend Jim and do some paddling in his area.

The drive over to Hemsedal was incredible.

Paddling the Hemsila, just outside of Hemsedal, was definitely a highlight of the trip so far for Mark. We also did a couple hikes in the area checking out the beautiful landscape.

Sheep....where are you?

After Hemsedal we headed to the town Sogndal, right on the fjord, to paddle the Sogndalselva. It was a sweet little creek that provided continuous rapids and slides for our enjoyment.
From Sogndal we made our way to the kayaker's paradise of Voss. Since we got here we have paddled a world class river or creek everyday and there are still many left to run. Here we have good company and amazing rivers, what more could we ask for (besides a little bit warmer temperatures)?
